Avocado Bread Sandwich

Avocado is also known as the "alligator pear" has its origin from Mexico and Central America.Its a single seeded fruit with dark green colored skin.

Avocados have more potassium and are rich in folic acid and vitamin K.

Its also a good source of Vitamin B6,Vitamin C,Vitamin E and has high fiber content - 75% insoluble and 25% soluble fiber.




It reduces the LDL (bad) Cholestrol and increases the HDL (good) Cholestrol.

Some of the components in avocado also seems to have anti bacterial properties.

Its so good to have one avocado everyday.

Ingredients:


* Avocado - 1 (Ripe)
* salt
* lemon juice
* pepper
* onion
* bread slice
* ghee





Preparation:

 Peel avocado and smash it into a fine paste.

 Add salt and pepper into it.

 Chop onion into very small pieces and slightly saute it and add it into avocado mix.

 You can also add few drops of lemon juice.

 Now toast the bread.To make it crisp apply little butter onto it if you wish.

 Once toasted,apply the avocado mix to it.

 Its a very healthy and tasty food.

 Avocado is known for its rich anti-oxidants.

Tips:

If you like the taste of a ripened avocado,then you can also have it raw without adding unwanted oil in saute.

Just smash the avocado and add little salt for taste.

You can use this as a side dish for either chapathi or can also spread it in bread.

Can use as a dip for chicken or tortilla chips too.
