Veggie chapathi Roll

Ingredients: 

  • Wheat Flour – 1 ½ cup
  • Cabbage – 2 tspn (grated)
  • Potato – 1
  • Green peas – 1 tspn
  • Onion – 1tspn (grated)
  • Carrot – 1 (grated)
  • Chilly powder – ½ tspn
  • Garam Masala – ¼ tspn
  • Cumin  - ½ tspn
  • Paneer – 2tspn (grated)
  • Corriander leaves -  1 tspn (chopped)
  • Ghee – 2tspn
  • Oil-as needed
  • Salt- as needed


Preparation:

Mix salt and 1 tspn ghee to the flour.

Add luke warm water and knead the flour like chapathi dough

Smash the cooked potato.

Ina kadai,temper cumin seeds,followed by onion and cabbage and sauté them.

Then add smashed potato,corriander leaves,green peas,chilly powder,garam masala,salt and sauté well.

This is the stuff to be filled in the roll.

Make small balls out of the dough and spread it like chapathi.

Then to the center of it,add 2 tspn of the masala mix and spread it.

Then roll the chapathi and paste the edges with little water applied.

With the left out ghee (1 tspn) add little oil.

Heat a non-stick griddle and place the chapathi roll in the center.

Apply ghee- oil mix to the edges.Once its brown in colour turn the roll so that the other side also gets done.

Once done you can now sprinkle the grated paneer on top of the roll and serve if you wish.

This chapathi doesn’t need any side dish.

Tips:

It’s ok to avoid potato in the mix and add more vegetables instead for good(to reduce carb).

You still can make rolls filling.Also you can avoid paneer.
