Methi Chapathi

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour -  2 cup
  • Methi leaves – 1 cup
  • Corriander leaves – 1 tspn
  • Chilly Powder – ½ tspn
  • Dhaniya Powder – ½ tspn
  • Garam Masala – ¼ tspn
  • Cumin Powder – ½ tspn
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ tspn
  • Ajwain – ½ tspn
  • Hing – a pinch
  • Oil – ¼ cup
  • Salt - As needed






Preparation:

In a bowl mix wheat flour,salt,ajwain seeds,little oil,chilly pwdr,garam masala,dhaniya pwdr,cumin  pwdr,turmeric and hing.

Wash well the methi leaves and then chop them into very small pieces.

Also chop  the coriander leaves the same way.

Mix them to the flour mix.

Add little by little water and knead the dough.

Let it stand aside for atleast 30 minutes.

Then make small balls and spread in with hands like chapathi.

Cook the same way as you do with chapathi in a griddle.

Apply oil on both sides.

The chapathis can now be served with Sweet tomato chutney or jam.
