Potato Carrot Parota

Ingredients:


  • Wheat flour- 2 cup
  • Potato – 1 (cooked and smashed)
  • Carrot -  1(grated)
  • Corriander leaves – 1tspn(chopped)
  • Onion – 1 tspn (chopped)
  • Cumin – ½ tspn
  • Chilly Powder – ½ tspn
  • Green chilly – 1
  • Ginger – ½ tspn(grated)
  • Garam Masala- ½ tspn
  • Cumin Powder – ¼ tspn
  • Dhaniya powder – ¼ tspn 
  • Butter – 1 tspn
  • Salt,Oil -  As needed





Preparation:

Mix wheat flour,salt,butter and warm water and knead the dough.

Let it stand for 30 minutes.

In a kadai add 1 tspn oil and sauté cumin seeds,onion,then carrot,ginger,chilly powder,dhaniya,cumin powders,garam masala,gr chilly and smashed potato and salt.

Then make small balls in the dough.

Spread the ball with hands like parota  and add a spoon of potato masala mix in the center and spread it again so that the masala mixes with the dough.

Then heat a  heavy kadai, and cook it.

Add oil on both sides.

Cook it both sides until its golden brown.

Boondi raita would be a good side dish for this.
