Wheat Flour Thali Vadaam (Papads)

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour -  2cup
  • Green chilly – 1
  • Cumin – 1 tspn
  • White Sesame Seeds – 1 tspn
  • Baking Soda -  a pinch
  • Salt – as needed





Preparation:

Mix wheat flour,salt and baking soda.

Grind green chilly in mixer and mix it with the flour.

Add water to the flour and mix it to dosa batter consistency with no lumps.

Then add sesame seeds and cumin to this mix.

Apply little oil in the idly plates and pour the batter into each plate.

Steam cook in cooker for 15 minutes.

Then apply oil in some tray or dish and dry the vadaams cooked in cooker.

Let it dry for 2 days and let it dry on the other side too.

When its well dried it can be fried in oil.

Tips:

These vadaams can also be baked in Microwave instead of deep fry.

Just place some vadaams in a plate and cook for 15 seconds to 30 seconds for 5 pieces.
