Thattu vadai is a crispy,delicious
south indian snack .
The good news is that it could also
be done using wheat for good.
Ingredients:
*Wheat flour – 1 cup
*Rice flour – 1 tspn
*Bengal gram – 1 tspn (Soaked)
*Hing – ¼ tspn
*Chilly powder - 1 tspn
*Curry leaves – little bit (Chopped)
*Butter – 1 tspn
*Oil – As needed to fry
*Salt – to taste
*Salt – to taste
Preparation:
In a bowl,mix all the above by adding
little water to it.
Let the dough be in tight consistency
like that of poori dough.
Make small balls out of the dough.
In a plastic sheet apply little oil
and spread the dough by pressing with palm.
Make them like small pooris.
Then fry them in the oil.
