Dhal makani is a north indian dish,more familiar in punjab.Its primarily made of black gram or masoor dhal.I have shared below my own recipe of dhal makani,the easy way.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Cook the masoor dhal until its soft.
Take a pan,add oil and saute cumin seeds,followed by onion and ginger garlic paste.
Then add tomato,chilly powder and salt and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Then add butter,cooked masoor dhal,water and cook in slow flame for 10 minutes,so that the dhal could absorb all the taste.
Then you can add cream if you wish or you can also avoid it for good.
Add corriander leaves at last and stir it.
The curry can now be served hot with chapathi.
