Wheat Rava Puttu

Ingredients:


  • Rava (Sooji) – 2 cup
  • Ghee – 1 tspn
  • Grated Coconut – ½ cup
  • Cashew – 1 tspn
  • Salt -  a pinch





Preparation:

Slightly shallow fry the sooji in ghee.

Mix salt in 1 cup of luke warm water.

Mix Rava,cashew pieces and the luke warm water.

Then cook the above mix in either puttu Kuzhal or Idly Plates in cooker.

When you add the rava mix to the plates first add few coconut gratings.

Then add rava mix and also apply ghee to the plates.

It takes approximately 15 minutes to cook this.

Once cooked this can be served with chutney.
