Colourful poori

Ingredients: 

  • Wheat flour -  3 cup
  • Rava – 2 tspn
  • Butter -  2tspn
  • Ajwain – ½ tspn
  • White Sesame Seeds -  ½ tspn
  • Cumin -  ½ tspn
  • Palak leaves – 10
  • Corriander leaves – 1tspn(chopped)
  • Carrot – ½ cup (grated)
  • Beetroot- 1/4 cup (grated)
  • Chilly powder – ½ tspn
  • Garam masala – ½ tspn
  • Oil- as needed
  • Salt- as needed



Preparation:

Mix wheat flour with rava and divide it into 4 sections.

Add salt and little butter to each section of the flour.

Wash palak and corriander leaves.Add palak to boiling water and drain immediately.

Mix the palak leaves with corriander and grind well in mixie as a paste.

Add this paste and little sesame seeds to one section of the wheat flour and knead it like poori dough.

Add grated carrot and cumin to another section and knead the dough by adding little water.

Add grated beetroot and ajwain to another section and knead the dough as said above.

Add chilly powder and garam masala to the left out flour and knead the dough.

Heat oil in kadai and make pooris out of each dough and enjoy the colourful pooris.

Tips:

You can also mix a small piece from each of the dough and can spread them together which makes out many colours in one poori.
