Radish Stuffed parotta

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour -  2cup
  • Radish -  as needed
  • Ginger – 1tspn (grated)
  • Corriander – 1 tspn (chopped)
  • Chilly powder – 1 tspn
  • Cumin powder -  ½ tspn
  • Garam masala – ¼ tspn
  • Gram flour – 1 tspn
  • Oil -  ¼ cup
  • Salt – to taste



Preparation:


Mix wheat flour with salt and 1 tspn oil and knead the dough like chapathi dough with little water.Keep this covered in a wet cloth.

Peel the radish and clean it and grate it in a grater.

Sprinkle salt to the radish and let it stand for 10 minutes.

Then drain it well and keep it aside.

Mix gram flour,chilly powder,garam masala,cumin powder,corriander leaves and grated ginger with radish and knead them well.Then make small balls from it.

Take a ball and spread it flat by applying oil in a plastic sheet.

Now add a tspn of radish masala mix in the center of the dough and make it into a ball again.

Again spread the dough ball with oil in a sheet .

Now heat a non-stick griddle and cook the parotta.Apply oil on the edges.

Make sure its cooked golden brown.This goes well with Boondi Raita.
